PROSTUROL® suppositories for a bacterial prostatitis
PROSTUROL® suppositories have been developed for the localised soothing and softening treatment of the anorectal canal for symptoms of congestion associated with acute and chronic prostatitis and benign prostate enlargement. Their shape allows the ingredients to provide relief via the anorectal canal (directly in the problem area). Thanks to their special composition, the suppositories can contribute to the localised relaxation of perceived stimuli to relieve symptoms associated with non-bacterial prostatitis.
Take one suppository daily, ideally before going to bed or as recommended by your doctor. A 30-day course is recommended. The duration and frequency of use can be changed depending on your symptoms. If required, PROSTUROL® can also be used for an extended period of time.
Before using PROSTUROL® suppositories, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water (including between your fingers) to prevent bacteria or other germs from entering the rectum during insertion. Dry your hands after washing. Optionally, you can wear disposable gloves. Cut long fingernails to avoid injury.
Carefully remove the suppository from the blister foil by pulling on the two pre-formed wings. Don't force the suppository out; rather peel it out like a banana. Use scissors if there is any difficulty in doing this.
To make it easier to insert the PROSTUROL® suppository, you can lie on your left side and pull your right knee towards your chest. Alternatively, you can insert it while standing.
Once you are in a comfortable position, with the rounded side facing forward, insert the PROSTUROL® suppository about 2.5 centimetres into the anus so that it reaches behind the sphincter muscle. Then squeeze your buttocks together and lie there for a few minutes to prevent the suppository from slipping out.
The focus is on tissue-relaxing properties, supplemented by the combination of plants, that can work together to improve symptoms. Since PROSTUROL® is administered as a suppository, it can act directly in the problem area via the anorectal canal. Thanks to their special composition, the suppositories can contribute to the localised relaxation of perceived stimuli to relieve symptoms associated with non-bacterial prostatitis.
One PROSTUROL® suppository contains the following ingredients:
pumpkin seeds, Indian pennywort, frankincense, immortelle, vitamin E acetate, narrow-leaved paperbark (tea tree), hyaluronic acid sodium salt, semi-synthetic glycerides.
