FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker with Duo-Active-Formula
Anyone suffering from recurrent bladder infections knows the typical symptoms very well: A burning sensation when urinating and the constant urge to urinate affect everyday life and reduce quality of life.
FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker is an antibiotic-free medical product that can protect against recurrent bladder infections as well as support the treatment of bladder infections (e.g. with antibiotics). It is also microbiome-friendly as it supports healthy vaginal microbiome. The easily digestible and flavourful drinking granules are based on the innovative Duo-Active formula with D-mannose (naturally occurring simple sugar) and lactobacilli (lactic acid bacteria). The individual sachets make it easy to use and ideal for when you are on the move (e.g. travelling).
You can use FEMALAC®Bacteria Blocker either to prevent recurring bladder infections or to support treatment (for example with antibiotics):
For prevention, take 1 sachet daily.
For supportive treatment, take 2 sachets daily.
Pour the powder into a glass with 200 ml of non-carbonated water and stir. Then drink the contents of the glass immediately.
In general, FEMALAC®Bacteria Blocker can be used for long-term.
FEMALAC® blocks E. coli bacteria in the bladder and at the same time promotes healthy vaginal microbiome – which is why it comes with the "microbiome-friendly" seal. FEMALAC Bacteria Blocker does this using the unique duo-active formula with D-mannose and lactobacilli.
D-Mannose: The natural simple sugar binds infection causing E. coli bacteria and flushes them out of the body along with the urine. This reduces the number of bacteria, which helps prevent recurring bladder infections.
Lactobacilli: Lactic acid bacteria are essential for a balanced vaginal microbiome. They produce lactic acid and thus maintain a slightly acidic pH value. This makes it more difficult for disease-causing bacteria to colonise and the frequency of recurring bladder infections can be reduced.
Preventive effect of D-Mannose: It has been clinically proven that D-mannose can be compared to an antibiotic for preventing bladder infections.1 Preventing infections using simple sugars has fewer side effects than treatment with antibiotics.
FEMALAC® drinking powder consists of the following ingredients:
D-mannose, maltodextrin, citric acid, wild berry flavour, grape flavour, silicon dioxide, Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, beetroot juice powder, sucralose.
